JOURNEY in WWW Programming

Good day! It is Week 11 now. We had lab class today. We redo the database design about hotel again this week. I learnt about how to create database tables one by one and how to define primary key. Then, copy and paste the SQL code to create the table. And also learnt the way to insert the data in each table.      This is a short video of the output of today's lab. The video is too short and not clear as it is taken using mobile and edited. I managed to create four tables and insert 1 row to each table. Somehow I am proud of myself for still remember about how to define length for "Double" data type. At first, lecturer got error and then, I corrected her. My memory power is still good it seems.       It is kind of complicated as we have to redo again and again if there is any wrong during the table creating process. Good day everyone!     It is week 10 now! Another four weeks left for finals. And WWW Programming exam is on 30th December. The last exam for this year. Let's discuss about the lab class now.                        The image above shows the output of the activity we did in lab class today. We did form validation for PHP today by using codes from w3school. At first, it does not work for me. I was wondering why is it not working since I save the file in correct xampp folder. Then, I rechecked with my friend. Actually my mistake was the link I typed in Google Chrome is wrong. I surfed to localhost website and then view my output by adding my file name which is "php1.php" behind the link. Then, it displayed the output, yet I need to check by insert inputs and click submit button to check whether the output is working correctly or not. I inserted everything and then submitted, it showed the correct input. ...

It's Week 9 now! Time flies so fast.  It was my 8th lab class for WWW programming. We learnt about PHP today. It looks complicated as we should activate Apache in XAMPP before proceed to coding in Dreamweaver. It will be highlighted in green color if it is activated. If we did not on the Apache, it would not show the result/output for the coding stated. Then, the Dreamweaver coding folder also need to locate at proper folder which is in XAMPP-Apache-htdocs. It has too many of rules to do so. If we fail to follow everything, we could not able to see the output. As the picture shows above, that is the output for my first PHP exercise. We actually just copy the coding from W3school and paste it on Dreamweaver in yesterday's class. My lecturer also taught us about few different way to write the PHP coding. Good day people.  Our 7th lab class has been cancelled due to my lecturer's parents in law has passed away. It is seriously a bad news for us too. May their souls rest in peace. "Death is only passing through God's other door". -Edgar Cayce Yet we still had class on last Sunday. It was a quiz day. Questions came out about HTML and CSS. Around 5 to 6 questions, I can't really remember. It is included theory questions and also should sketch an output for given coding. That was the difficult part. Because I got confused whether output will be on next line or same line. But managed to finish it. Hopefully can get good marks for it. This week is kind of hectic week. Heyyy yeahh Hello November! :) It's 1st November and it's my birthday month. Most importantly left another 1 month and 26 days for finals. Journey of 2017 going to end soon and will be starting another new year of 2018. Hopefully everything will move smoothly. This week is week 7. We have gone through half of the semester. Only left another 7 weeks.      Today was our 6th lab class. We did not do any lab activity. My lecturer taught us on PHP and I found it very hard. The coding looks complicated and I was sitting blur in lab just today. Maybe because we do not involve any hands on activity. Hopefully I could manage to understand and do well before sitting for final. Next week will be conduct our very first quiz on CSS and HTML. It will be include some theories and also coding. Madam told us that maybe we should write code for given output and it might be around 10 to 15 marks which is consider a lot. But that's okay, everything is possible.  #1Nov1...

Hiii !! I'm back after 1 week xD It is a lazy Wednesday for us. One week of holidays gone in a blink of eye. Time is moving too fast. It was an exhausted day. Lecturer was teaching us on JavaScript. In my opinion, I feel like learning JavaScript is so hard. It is complicated since it involves few files to link each other. We did some exercises from w3school website. My lecturer taught us one by one about how to link JavaScript to main file. That coding that lecturer shown us was too small in that screen in front. We were busy walking to the front to snap picture of it and type the coding in our computer. We did 7 exercises for JavaScript today. Then we submitted those exercises in Online Learning.
